Letter from APICS-SV President on COVID's Impact on the Organization

Dear Members,

I want to thank you for your continued interest and efforts to adapt as we navigate the unprecedented challenges brought on by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As you well know, the pandemic has changed day-to-day life and created a profoundly different reality. We are living in unprecedented times where organizations and businesses are working to adjust to a new normal.

The health and safety of our members, guests and community is our top priority. Taking into consideration the wellbeing of our community the Schuylkill Valley Chapter APICS Board of Directors has made the following decisions regarding any upcoming and future programs and events.

Professional Development Meetings will now be hosted in an online virtual meeting/webinar format. Details will be shared and posted on our website to join. All education, face to face classes will resume when it is safe to do so. Board meetings will be conducted virtually until it is safe to resume in-person meetings.

We are committed to you, our industries, and our community. I encourage you to reach out directly if we can be of any additional service to you as you rise to the challenge of becoming agile Supply Chain Professionals your businesses need now. We can influence positive change and prepare our members and community through our programs and certifications.

We will continue to monitor the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC. Please continue to network and share with us in our virtual community via "APICS Schuykill Valley Chapter" on LinkedIn and check for any updates and exciting upcoming virtual events on our website.

Thank you for all you do to make a positive impact, especially during these challenging times.

Stay safe, Stay Well.
